Finding the perfect outfit as the mother of the bride or groom is one of the most important and often one of the most daunting tasks in the lead-up to any wedding. At Jenny Lindop Bridal Wear in Bangor, we make this process a pleasure rather than a stress. We offer a bespoke design service, creating completely individual pieces that are tailored to your body shape, personal style and the overall look of the wedding.
Unlike high street options, our mother of the bride service is genuinely personal. We will sit down with you to discuss your vision, the colour palette of the wedding, the formality of the occasion and what you feel most confident wearing. From there, we select from a wide and beautiful range of fabrics, available in a rich variety of colours, to create a piece that complements the bridal party perfectly without overshadowing the bride.

Our designs are known for being flattering, elegant and supremely comfortable. We believe that the mother of the bride should feel as confident and celebrated as anyone else in the wedding party, and we channel that belief into every garment we create. Yes, absolutely. Our bespoke service is available to mothers of both the bride and the groom, as well as any guest who would like something truly special made for the occasion. If you have a milestone event and cannot find the right thing on the high street, we would love to help.
We recommend getting in touch as early as possible, ideally at least six to nine months before the wedding. This allows plenty of time for consultations, fabric selection, the creation of your outfit and any final adjustments before the big day.
